‘Snippy’

17 10 2007

The wonderfully useful application called ‘Snippy’, which can be downloaded free from this link allows any section of any screen to be captured with little more than a right click of the mouse - an ideal tool to add visuals to your presentations.

Thanks to Steve on the Shropshire Education blog for this one.

Music Technology - Edexcel

18 07 2006

It seems that the future of the ‘A’ level GCE Music Technology course is in some doubt as the Edexcel board had, at one stage, decided not to seek re-accreditation. As the only provider of examinations in Music Technology at this level, this could clearly be a problem leaving potential university technologically literate musicians with-out a reasonable alternative post-16.  I see from Edexcel’s own website that discussions are continuing.  See the link.
