About the ‘Music 4 Teachers’ blog
Keith Havercroft is currently a member of the Advisory Team in Shropshire and is the School Improvement Adviser for Music and e-Learning. He works across all age ranges and is the Head of The Shropshire Music Service, serving young people and schools in Shropshire LA. His work takes him regularly out of the LA into neighbouring authorities and past work has included support for schools as far afield as Cape Cornwall and Carlisle.
He launched the ‘Music for Teachers’ website at www.m4t.org in June 2001. The blog is a new addition to the site.
Hello Keith
Firstly I just want to congratulate you on a great resource. I’m not a teacher but I am involved in music education.
A technical thing -
I’m currently putting a web page together simply to provide music education and community music links and news from a variety of other sites.
I’d like to include the newsfeed from your site. All works well except for the “Welcome” post which displays as:
window.document.getElementById(’post-54′).parentNode.className += ‘ adhesive_post’;Welcome to the ‘Music for Teachers’ blog. The ‘Music for Teachers’ website is currently at http://www.m4t.org. The contents of the website are gradually being reviewed and presented within the new Shropshire Learning Gateway - members of the Shropshire community can find the logon screen at…. etc.
This is the case in my default news reader and in the feed that that I’m trying to put onto the site, so I think it’s a problem with the post at your end. All other posts seem fine.
Finally I’ll put a link to the m4t site up as well.
I have to say that your blog page looks nicer and cleaner than the m4t main site, but content is way more important!

Thankyou so much for your site. It has really helped me evaluate my pupils at Foundation Stage and KS1.
